Valley Tools Special Throwers Axe | Meets most Competition Requirements & IATF

The Valley Special Throwers hatchet is great for those just getting into the sport or for use as a "House Axe"  

 Fully drop forged head from S-2 tool steel

-                      15” overall length Hickory Handle – Made in USA

-                      Assembled in USA with heavy duty circular steel wedges

- Head weight of 1.5 LBS. 

These hatchets have handles that have been produced here from class A blanks.  Prior to assembly they are further selected so that handles with blemishes are culled out.

We then assemble then with a circular steel wedge which is tighter than traditional steel wedges.  All this creates a product better at absorbing the impact of being constantly dropped.

Note:

There may be some blemishes and will likely need sharpening. Out of the box these are ready to throw and are designed to take a beating.
